If all you can do is to look at Christ this season, rest assured that you are indeed celebrating the true essence of Christmas!
The Lord is my shepherd. I have everything that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows and leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me.
My Lord goes ahead of me in my day, shattering mountains and making the rugged places of my life smooth. Even when I walk through dark and painful seasons, I will not be afraid. He is with me. He protects and comforts me. He prepares a table of his goodness in all of the tough spots of my life.
He anoints my head with his Holy Spirit. My cup of blessings overflows. The Lord's goodness and love follow me into my day and will continue throughout my life. I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
